Markus Perz (M.Sc., B.Sc.)

Markus concluded his Masters Studies (M.Sc.) and his Bachelor of Science in the Institute of Software Technology of the Graz University of Technology, in Austria. His Masters Thesis presents the development of a Multi-User Augmented Reality Platform.
Markus’ passion lies around coding, software technology, football, tennis, swimming and e-games. As a software developer, he has vast experience with C++, C#, JS/TS, .NET, Angular, among others. During his studies, Markus Perz worked on software development for AVL List GmbH in Austria, which is a large independent company for the development, simulation and testing of powertrain systems. He worked from 2020 to 2025 at SimTech GmbH in Graz, as leading member of its software development team, where among other development tasks, he worked cross-functionally to deliver a secure, efficient and future-proof cloud solution for process simulation. Since October 2025, he has been working for Guid.New GmbH in Graz, dealing mainly with AI-agentic projects.
Markus supports REACH as consultant for IT development, reinforcing REACH’s mission on research and innovation projects at European and International levels.
